Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well. This is Proilios, and I'm about to share my predictions for the final week of regular season play in the League this year. It's going to be a much briefer post than usual since I'm super-busy with IRL stuff, but I'll still try my best to get accurate predictions down.

DAY 1

Will Florida's consistency trump the Gladiators' aggressive play?

DAY 2

1. Hangzhou Spark vs. Seoul Dynasty- Dynasty wins 3-2.

2. London Spitfire vs. New York Excelsior- Excelsior wins 3-0.

3. Washington Justice vs. San Francisco Shock- Shock wins 3-0.

4. Dallas Fuel vs. Toronto Defiant- Fuel wins 3-0.

5. Los Angeles Gladiators vs. Atlanta Reign- Reign wins 3-1.

6. Los Angeles Valiant vs. Vancouver Titans- Valiant wins 3-2.

DAY 3

2. Dallas Fuel vs. Paris Eternal- Eternal wins 3-0.

3. San Francisco Shock vs. Atlanta Reign- Shock wins 3-0.

4. Los Angeles Valiant vs. Los Angeles Gladiators- Gladiators win 3-0.

That's all for my regular season predictions! Sorry for the really short post, but IRL problems can pile up hard sometimes and I need to take care of them first. Thanks a lot for your patience, and I'll see you again before the Playoffs!

The OverThinker: How To Eat Ultimates as D.Va

Hey everyone, welcome back to The OverThinker, where we dive deep into topics concerning the core game of Overwatch. It's been a while since my last upload in this series, but I'm back with something unique and hopefully useful!  In this post, I'll be sharing my insights into eating ultimates as D.Va, which is something I've gotten fairly good at in recent times. Currently, D.Va is my most-played hero; I've got around 200 hours on her on ladder, and have learnt how to use her kit in various situations on all kinds of maps. She's a very powerful hero by design and utility, but is also very easy to play incorrectly. Unlike Roadhog, Zarya, and even Sigma, D.Va's offensive tools are the least impressive parts of her kit. She's an 'off-tank' in the true sense of the term, and playing her requires a unique approach and mindset that you can't use with any other of Overwatch's 32 characters. When you play D.Va, you're supposed to be the prima...

OverSimplified: Winston Pocket Guide ft. Bogur

Hey everyone, welcome to yet another part of OverSimplified! In today's post, we'll be learning about how to play and improve at one of our favourite tanks in Overwatch, Winston. Now, Winston is a very well-designed hero. He' s really fun to play, has his own set of strengths and weaknesses, excels at a specific role, and is still vulnerable enough to allow for counterplay. He's exactly the kind of hero I'm sure we all want to learn how to play, so I got in touch with  Top 500 Bulgarian Main Tank player and streamer, Bogur , who has been, in my opinion, one of the best Winston players on ladder for quite some time now. With Bogur's inputs, I've written this quick Winston guide for those of you that wish to get a holistic understanding of how this hero works in the current state of Overwatch. OVERVIEW Winston is what we call a 'Main Tank' in Overwatch, meaning his primary job is to create space for his team, enabling them to take up optimal positions ...

OverAchievers: A Conversation with Team India (Overwatch World Cup, 2019)

Have you heard of the Word-Association Game? It’s a two-player game, where one person says a word, and the other says the first word that comes to mind when they hear that word. For example, I could say sky , and you could say blue ; I could say gaming , and you could say PC ; I could say India , and you could say…? No matter which word you’re thinking of, I’m pretty sure it isn’t eSports . You must have something like spices , culture or history in mind, because yes, ‘India’ is not a name that usually pops up when one talks about eSports. It is a country mostly known for its deep-rooted history, diversity in cultures, amazing food, and of course, Bollywood, our film industry. Welcome, everyone. I am Pratyush ‘Proilios’ Panshikar, and if you haven’t guessed already, I’m from India myself, which is why I’m very excited to bring you all this article today. It’s been 3 long years since the Overwatch World Cup first began, and each new edition has always brought with it a long...
